Brayton
International has gained worldwide prominence in producing award winning
designs. The IIDA has recognized Brayton International numerous times
throughout the years by awarding Brayton with Gold, Silver, and Bronze
Awards for Excellence in product design. The Resource Council has also
recognized Brayton on several occasions with its Roscoe Design Awards.
Over the past four years, Brayton has received eight Best of NeoCon
awards for best product design.
In 1987,
Brayton International was acquired by Steelcase Inc. and became one of
the first members of the Steelcase Design Partnership. Brayton’s overall
objective is to offer award-winning designs that are
produced in America
by skilled craftsman who are trained in Old World traditions.
Brayton
International built its reputation meeting specific needs for the
architectural design community. Our design flexibility allows us to
manufacture products designed for a wide variety of applications.
Brayton can vary dimensions, accommodate custom finishes, and alter the
visual appearance of our products without compromising the structural or
design integrity of these pieces. All Brayton International products
pass BIFMA testing. Due to our design flexibility and commitment to
function, Brayton found a niche in the healthcare market with
Health Design, which was created in 1992 and continues to enjoy
