About Simon Dury Interiors


Simon Drury Interiors was started in late 1979. Until 1981, when it was incorporated, there were only a few employees and resources, and was literally almost only "SIMON DRURY". At that time a small showroom (1,250 sq. ft.) was established in the Puerta de Tierra, of San Juan, which grew to an office/showroom area of 3,650 sq. ft. by 1985.

Growth of sales and number of employees continued to increase every year by healthy percentages, so that by 1985, sales exceeded $2,000,000 and the number of employees was fourteen (14). In the late eighties this trend continued and by 1989, sales exceeded $5,000,000 and the number of employees totaled twenty eight (28).  In 1990, the growth of the company dictated a move to a new location, that for the first time allowed the integration of the offices, showroom and warehouse in one place, a 32,000 sq. ft. custom built facility in the Amelia Industrial Park, in Buchanan (San Juan).

Now, in the year 2017, Simon Drury Ltd., Inc. our facility is over 42,000 sq. ft. and has over thirty full time employees, including 2 project managers, 5 installers, 1 installation supervisor, 1 warehouse supervisor, 5 salespersons, 2 designers, 3 accounting and traffic/Logistics persons, 1 inventory control specialist, 1 showroom manager, 2 customer service/sales assistants, and various administrative and managerial staff. We use two groups of installation specialists, which include over 20 full time employees.

Major furniture manufacturers, which are represented, include, Haworth, Kimball, National (all exclusively in Puerto Rico). Also, Simon Drury Interiors is a member of the Workplace Alliance.

By 2017 our accumulative sales were over $186 million. We were rated in 2000 by the Caribbean Business Newspaper as the largest sales volume office furniture dealer in Puerto Rico, for third year in a row.

Our goal is to continue this type of growth, concentrating on selling only the highest quality office furniture, while always offering the best service and value to our customers.
